About this apartment rental
Cross Ali'i Drive for a morning in the water, then come home to a lanai that frames the ocean, palms, and Kona's nightly sunset. This second-floor, two-bedroom condo at Kona SeaSpray sleeps four and sits less than a quarter-mile from Kahalu'u Beach Park, one of the island's favorite places to snorkel. Snorkel gear is provided, so the reef can be part of the plan without extra packing. The Keauhou Shopping Center is under a mile away for groceries and dinner options, while the heart of Kailua-Kona is an easy drive when you want more town energy. Back on the grounds, use the outdoor pool, ocean-view sundeck, and shared grills for a relaxed afternoon. Inside, air conditioning in the living room and bedrooms keeps everyone comfortable. It is a terrific South Kona base for a family or friends who measure a good day in beach time.
The Space:
Two sets of sliding doors bring light and trade winds into this 1,088-square-foot second-floor condo, then lead straight to the private lanai. The two-bedroom, two-bath layout sleeps four, with air conditioning in the living room and bedrooms. A well-equipped kitchen, dining table for four, dual sofas, and a smart TV make it easy to regroup between reef swims and sunset plans.
Guest Access:
Guests at Kona SeaSpray enjoy access to the oceanfront communal pool, with the private entrance opening onto a lit path for safe evening returns. The setting is right across from prime surfing and snorkeling, and shopping is close by too. Some resort facilities are operated independently by the resort.
The Neighborhood:
This stretch of Ali'i Drive is prized for easy access to Kahalu'u Beach Park, where a protected reef makes snorkeling a favorite Kona activity. Keauhou Shopping Center is nearby for groceries and casual meals, and Keauhou Harbor is close for ocean excursions. Drive north to Kailua Village for more restaurants and shops, then return south for a quieter evening. It is an especially good location for families who want the snorkel beach close enough to use more than once.
Getting Around:
Kona International Airport is about 10 to 15 minutes away, making arrival simple. A rental car is recommended so you can explore the Kona Coast at your own pace. Downtown Kailua-Kona's shops, restaurants, and oceanfront Ali'i Drive are often within walking distance or a short drive, with beaches, snorkeling spots, and grocery stores close by. Parking is generally available on site or nearby, whether street or lot.
