This 2-bedroom house is perfect for your escape to Jacksonville. Centrally located in a quiet neighborhood, you'll be 2 minutes from Western Blvd-close to shopping and restaurants. 10 minutes from Camp LeJeune Main gate, 35 minutes to Emerald Isle Beach. 40 minutes to North Topsail Beach. Visit the new Museum of the Marine in Jacksonville or take a day trip to Wilmington to tour the USS Carolina Battleship or enjoy more shopping and dining. This is our home away from home and is fully equipped-you won't need to bring anything but yourself. Come and relax. It is our great joy to share this little Green Haven with your family. Our story includes healing from diabetes and cancer. We have done that through healthy food and environment, faith, exercise and taking time to enjoy life. We found traveling was a challenge as "healing happens at home" generally. Nana's Green House was created to provide that kind of a space for us and others. Therefore, we have provided many of the tools for healing that we use at home.

Inside, guests find a soothing retreat complete with healthy organic options where possible. In the fully appointed chefs kitchen enjoy cooking if that’s your thing. You’ll have reverse osmosis water on tap, organic coffee, tea, and spices available. Even a cold press juicer to start your day with fresh fruit or veggie juices or smoothies. The kitchen is equipped with nontoxic Green Pan cookware, cups, bowls, plates, silverware, glass food storage, popcorn popper, Ninja blender, toaster, coffeemaker, electric mixer.

With one king bed and one queen bed, there’s plenty of space to relax. Enjoy the organic cotton bed linens. In the primary there’s a comfy leather recliner and flat screen tv for a truly private retreat. Two bathrooms each include a bathtub, shower, double vanity. Guest toiletries, linens and hair dryers making your stay comfortable and convenient. Enjoy the clean, chemical free water from the whole house water filtration system, whether cooking or bathing. (Jacksonville city water is treated with flouride, ammonia and chlorine. You won't have that here!)

The peaceful atmosphere invites you to unwind after a day of exploring, playing or visiting family. With a huge leather sectional sofa, gas fireplace and 65” streaming TV, the living room is great gathering space to relax, play games or visit with loved ones. Even littles would sleep comfortably here on the sectional. A third bedroom is equipped with large window, loveseat, desk and a wireless printer for your convenience. Finally, we’ve got you covered with an air conditioned workout shed equipped with elliptical, free weights, a rebounder and yoga mat. The shed is currently being remodeled, so be patient with us. It's functional, just not beautiful yet.

Whether you’re enjoying quiet mornings on the back patio or cozy evenings making memories in the privacy fenced backyard, this amazing home provides a welcoming space to recharge. Smore's around the fire pit, grilling on the Weber charcoal grill, cornhole and even a silly family game called flickin chicken are available for backyard fun.
