The popular village of Baslow has exceptional amenities, from award winning restaurants (including one Michelin starred) to quaint little shops. Just a short walk across a bridge and guests will find themselves in the expansive parklands of Chatsworth House. Alternatively, for the more energetic, a walk up through the village leads up on to the top of Baslow Edge for commanding views of the Derwent Valley. The market town of Bakewell is only a 10 minute drive away.

This three bedroom cottage is filled with charm and character throughout. Spread across three floors, the exposed beams of the property provide a lovely sense of space and warmth. Downstairs the dining room boasts a gritstone fireplace and an open archway which leads through to the galley kitchen and all the essentials for attempting a Michelin style meal. The sitting room is at the rear of the cottage with a wood burner providing a central feature to the room and ample warmth on winter nights.

On the first floor there are two bedrooms; one double bed and one with a single bed. The main bathroom is also located on this floor and consists of a bath with electric shower-over, toilet and hand basin. Upstairs the spacious main bedroom extends into the eaves of the cottage, with an en-suite bathroom and king size bed. The bright bedroom has a Velux window offering a glimpse of Chatsworth Park.

Outside there is a rear yard ( access shared by neighbouring cottages) with patio seating, there is a bench at the front of the cottage which is a lovely spot for watching the world go by.
