Glenshee Ski area is just 19 miles with ski equipment available to hire at the centre or in Blairgowrie. The popular town of Blairgowrie is also close by with its excellent leisure, and shopping facilities and has some delightful eateries serving home-cooked food. A picturesque 2.5-mile walk leads into the centre. Perth is just 14 miles with regular trains to Edinburgh, the beautiful historic village of Dunkeld 11 miles and Pitlochry 23 miles.
