About this house rental
Fawn Lake Hideaway is a unique, lakefront cabin offering privacy with all the comforts of home. The upper level includes two bedrooms, a full bathroom, kitchen, dining area and living room. The lower level has a beautiful lake view and walkout screen porch with a nearby fire pit. There is an additional bedroom and full bathroom on the lower floor along with a family room and laundry room. There are also two sofa beds if needed. The cabin includes a private dock and beach area with kayaks and a rowboat. Complimentary Wi-Fi and satellite TV included.

Wish we could have stayed longer!! Such a lovely place for a getaway in the North Woods!! We so enjoyed eating outdoors on the deck, having coffee by the lake, spending cool evenings inside by the fire. The rooms were all fine and had nice views, the kitchen had everything we could have asked for! But we especially loved the porches!! And the quiet. So grateful for the chance to experience real silence— except for the loons, of course! Such a treat!! Would love to return!

We really enjoyed our stay - 3 nights in the Northwoods! The house had everything we needed, different spaces to hang out in and a nice campfire pit. Weather wasn't great so the indoor stove felt great. Maybe next time we'll get a chance to use the boat/kayaks.

Beautiful house on a quiet lake Wonderful UpNorth stay with lots of nature. Close enough to Minocqua if you need to visit town! Would love to go back to see fall colors

If a 4.5 rating was possible that would be the rating. The cabin has plenty of rooms and places to gather. The location is great if you want to explore the north country. Lake Tomahawk, Tomahawk, and Minocqua are within 30 minutes. The host visited to answer any questions. There is no swimming at the cabin. There is a beach down the road. Access to the boats and kayaks is pretty steep. the provided boats and kayaks were much appreciated and well used.The weeds are thick for quite a ways into the lake. Once you get past the weeds the fishing was great. Multiple 17 inch bass were caught. We did take advantage of the second lake.
