Traveling with dogs? We thought of that too.

Under the staircase landing, you’ll find a built-in oversized dog kennel large enough for even extra-big breeds to rest comfortably after long river days. It’s the perfect place for pups to dry off, relax, and avoid tracking the outdoors through the entire cabin.

No. The Glover River is free-flowing and not dammed, so levels can vary depending on weather and rainfall.

Yes. The circle drive offers plenty of room for boats, trailers, and multiple vehicles.

Is the cabin family friendly?

Absolutely. The property was designed with families in mind and includes a bunk room, zipline, swings, slackline, river access, and plenty of outdoor space.

What kind of wildlife might we see?

You may spot deer, turtles, frogs, barn swallows, bald eagles, raccoons, possums, groundhogs, coyotes, lizards, and other local wildlife during your stay.

Yes. The hot tub is located on a covered porch overlooking the river.



The River & The Experience

The Glover River is one of the last free-flowing rivers in Oklahoma, meaning it isn’t controlled by a dam. River levels can change with the weather, making every stay a little different and every season its own kind of adventure.



This is the kind of place where kids come inside muddy, barefoot, soaking wet, and happier than they’ve been in months. Spend the day on the private river access, zipline, slackline, swings, or relaxing on the deck while the water moves through the trees.



There’s a hot-and-cold outdoor rinse station out back for washing off muddy feet, river gear, and adventurous kids before heading inside. Another water spigot out front works great for inflatable water slides and outdoor play setups.



Wildlife & Nature

Nature is very much alive here, and that’s part of the magic. You may spot frogs on the deck, turtles near the river, deer moving through the trees, barn swallows nesting under the porch, or even bald eagles overhead. Over the years we’ve also seen raccoons, possums, coyotes, skunks, groundhogs, lizards, and the occasional harmless rat snake.

At night, you’ll hear frogs, crickets, and the river instead of traffic.



A Few Country Living Notes

We’re out in the boonies a bit, and we like it that way.

The cabin is on an aerobic septic system, so please do not flush wipes or feminine products, and avoid putting food down the drains as there is no garbage disposal.



Water pressure isn’t perfect out here, but the tankless water heater keeps the hot water coming after long river days. Both showers and the soaking tub feature handheld sprayers for rinsing off muddy kids.



All bedrooms include TVs and ceiling fans, and there are additional TVs outside on the upstairs balcony and main porch. The back porches also feature ceiling fans and a drop-down screen for guests bringing their own projector setup for outdoor movie nights.
