Welcome to The Surf House—a bright, comfortable beach house built for slow summer days, poolside afternoons, and easy indoor-outdoor living tucked away in a peaceful pocket of Hampton Bays. As our family’s personal home away from home, it is set up for real, relaxed living. With a laid-back surf vibe, a pool, a hot tub, and walkable beach access, it’s the perfect unpretentious setting for a classic, memory-making family retreat.
Situated in a quiet neighborhood, you are just seconds from the water and minutes from local seafood spots, boat rentals, and ocean beaches. It’s a wonderful, family-friendly base camp for exploring the East End while enjoying a completely private, comfortable getaway.
A look inside our family beach house:
Indoor Living
Main Level: Filled with natural light, the main floor features a spacious living area with soaring ceilings, a big dining table, and a fully equipped kitchen built for family meals. The primary bedroom is located on this level, featuring a king bed, a large closet, and a full bathroom that dual-opens to both the bedroom and the main living area.
Second Level: Upstairs, you will find two comfortable bedrooms connected by a shared Jack-and-Jill bathroom. One bedroom features a queen bed, while the other is equipped with two twin XL beds—perfect for kids or adults. Pack ’n Plays are available upon request for families traveling with little ones.
The Bonus Space: The finished lower level functions as a secondary recreation and flex living room. Featuring a comfortable queen bed, it provides excellent extra space for families looking to spread out and unwind. This lower level also houses a full-size washer and dryer for your convenience.
Outdoor Living & Backyard Oasis
The Deck: A massive backyard deck featuring a hot tub, a refreshing outdoor cedar shower (the best way to rinse off sand after the beach), and a large outdoor dining table meant for long, slow summer dinners. The grill is located just below the deck.
The Pool: An in-ground swimming pool surrounded by lounge seating and a smaller attached side pool that is perfect for little ones to splash around in safely.
Firepit & Lawn: As the sun goes down, gather around the private firepit area to toast s'mores after a day in the surf. The spacious lawn area is perfectly set up for a casual evening game of cornhole while the grill is going.
Location, Location, Location
The Beaches: Walk right out your door to a quiet, family-friendly neighborhood bay beach with calm waters. For world-class ocean waves, you are just a quick 5-minute drive or bike ride to Ponquogue Beach.
Walkable Conveniences: Leave the car in the driveway—you can easily walk to local morning coffee spots, casual bars, and waterfront neighborhood restaurants.
Local Flavor: Located in the heart of Hampton Bays' boat- and surf-friendly culture, you are minutes away from incredible local fish markets for fresh daily catches to bring back and grill on the deck.

Stay Requirements: In compliance with Southampton Town regulations, this home requires a 14-night minimum stay.
Family First: This is our family’s home, and we welcome respectful guests who will treat it as their own. No parties or events are allowed at any time, and we ask guests to please be mindful of neighborhood quiet hours after 10 PM.
