Welcome to the perfect Bourbon Trail getaway. This charming 100-year-old farmhouse blends historic character with modern comforts, creating a warm and inviting space for bourbon adventures, horse country visits, family vacations, and weekend escapes.
Unlike many vacation rentals that advertise sleeping for 10 using pullout couches or air mattresses, our farmhouse comfortably accommodates larger groups with five actual beds, including custom queen-over-queen bunk beds. The open-concept living, dining, and kitchen areas make gathering easy, while the bedrooms are tucked away for privacy and relaxation.
After a day exploring distilleries, horse farms, or downtown Louisville, unwind in the hot tub, gather around the fire pit, challenge friends to a game of shuffleboard, or enjoy a handcrafted bourbon cocktail.
The large, fully fenced backyard provides plenty of room to play, relax, and enjoy the Kentucky countryside. The property was as advertised. It was well stocked and clean. The backyard was great! I lost every corn joke game but still had fun… Great location for the bourbon trail.

The home is well kept. Great host, well appointed house. Pet waste station in the backyard was a 10 out of 10. Very thoughtful, ice maker on counter, plenty of towels. Central location for the Bourbon trail.

We had a great stay at the Shelbyville Farmhouse. The house was perfect, and everything was so well-organized that we never needed to reach out to the host. The hot tub was a total highlight, especially since the rain kept us from the fire pit. Highly recommended as a home base while exploring the Bourbon Trail. The host provided an informative and useful guide for local attractions and restaurants.We will be back.
