Price was great, especially for the location.
The listing said there should be room for 3 people to sleep (2 share a queen bed and 1 with a futon). The futon turned out to be an inflatable mattress, which had visible stains and included no actual bedding. I checked-in right at 4 pm and messaged the host requesting bedding at 4 pm, to which they responded multiple times that the bedding was in the closet while I continually affirmed the closet was empty. I continued to follow-up, after which the host stated all staff had gone home for the day and nobody could help us.
With check-in at 4 pm at the earliest, staff need to be available for at least a few hours to resolve any problems. No available bedding is a huge problem. Upon receiving my message, staff should have stayed until the problem was resolved–even if they thought it was an error on my end. The host did not seem to care that one of us would have to sleep on a dirty air mattress with no blankets or pillows.
