Lovely location & Room. Better Communication is needed

Location. Was so close to the centre. Very clean. Easy to navigate. Pool facility. Clean Towels. Everything we needed for 2 nights.

Communication with host. Arrived at 4pm (check in time) only to find they hadn’t given us the key code. Texted at 11am on the day to inform them we were on route but didn’t reply until 20 minutes of us waiting outside the shop. Again when receiving instructions about check out. Never specified where to take them. Messaged a few times throughout the stay, and they never replied.
