The dampy apartement that makes sounds
The kitchen was new
First of all, upon reaching the door, you realize the apartment is located at level -1—in other words, in a basement. This is confirmed the moment you step inside and sense the dampness in the air—a smell that will linger with you for days, even after you’ve left (we had to wash the jackets the minute we got back home).
*Unlocking the door requires strength, patience, and a will to live.
The floor is so uneven that it makes you question your own balance. If you leave a ball in the living room, you’ll find it in the (tiny) bathroom, several meters away.
We wouldn’t recommend staying here alone; the apartment makes such strange noises that it’s genuinely terrifying! You can hear the pipes from all the apartments above, along with creaking sounds coming from the walls and radiators.
You can not leave any windows open to releave the smell, because they are positioned too low and lack security bars, making it feel unsafe.
Location: not as close as promised. It takes about a 25–30 minute walk to reach the city center or the Old Town.
Towels: one towel per person. One has to wonder if the same towel is meant for both your face and the backside.
Toilet paper: one roll per person for a 6-day stay.
The WORST part of all: Communication with RENTUJEMY.COM
I travel frequently, but I have never encountered such an incompetent agency.
A few days before my arrival, I had two questions, but no one responded on WhatsApp. Not once. Not even to this day. On the day I arrived, I didn't receive instructions on how to enter the apartment due to a discrepancy between the account I used to register in their app and the one I used to pay for a "GOLD" membership (yes, I paid for a "Gold" membership, and I also paid for early check-in, since I arrived early in the morning). I tried to reach them via every email address and phone number I could find (all labeled "for emergencies"), but the only thing I got was the chance to "argue" with a bot!
