The villa itself is absolutely stunning. Beautiful design, thoughtfully finished, and a genuinely lovely space with huge potential in an excellent location. The staff were also consistently polite, friendly and pleasant to deal with.
The property is clearly still going through a soft-launch, and unfortunately there were too many operational and maintenance issues for a villa already available at full booking rates.
The biggest problems were the Wi-Fi and hot water. The Wi-Fi was extremely slow, regularly disconnected and was almost unusable for work or streaming. If you need to work online during your stay, I would not rely on being able to do so from the villa.
The hot water would run out after just one shower and needed time to heat again, which is difficult to understand for a two-bedroom villa designed for four guests. The air conditioning in the second bedroom also malfunctioned and stopped cooling.
There were also ants throughout the living area, on the deck chairs and eventually in the bedroom, requiring regular spraying. Other smaller issues included non-working pool light (which I had to request to be fixed) and advertised items such as a hairdryer and coffee machine not being available.
I ended up contacting staff almost daily over WhatsApp about different problems. By the final three days of my 1 week stay, I declined further maintenance visits and cleaning simply because I wanted some privacy.
One more issue I had, which is not the property's fault, the frogs in the walkaway and surrounding bushes are loud overnight, so you will need earplugs if you are a light sleeper.
Overall, it is a beautiful property, however I would personally consider waiting until around November 2026 to give them time to resolve the soft-launch issues.
