We booked this apartment the night before our departure after our previous host cancelled our reservation. At first, we were a little suspicious because similar accommodation in this location, just 15 minutes from central London, cost several hundred pounds more. I suspect the low price was simply because the apartment had no reviews yet.
The apartment was clean and comfortable, with one bedroom and a living room with a kitchenette. We stayed as a family of four, but there were enough sleeping places for up to six people. The kitchen was fully equipped with everything we needed, including a fridge, washing machine, dryer, kettle, microwave, pots and cutlery. Towels, a hairdryer and even UK plug adapters were provided. The heating worked well, and there was gas and plenty of hot water.
The biggest advantage is the location. There is a bus stop right outside, and Caledonian Road Underground station is about a 10-minute walk away, with just one stop to King's Cross.
Overall, we definitely recommend this apartment! It is clean, very well equipped, conveniently located and offers excellent value for money.
The only minor downside is some outside noise, as the apartment is directly on Caledonian Road and the traditional wooden windows do not block much street noise. I used noise-cancelling headphones, while the children were not bothered by it.
