We were incredibly lucky to find this newly renovated gem shortly after it was listed on Booking.com. From the moment we arrived, we absolutely loved everything about it. It made my family so happy and completely changed our view of Kenton-on-Sea.
We had initially booked another property that looked good on the pictures but turned out to be horribly filthy. We unfortunately had to forfeit our booking money to find alternative accommodation. My 11yr old son begged us to please find somewhere decent for the last two days of our holiday, and finding Shells on the Kariega was truly an answer to our prayers. We loved it so much that we ended up extending our stay by an additional night!
Everything in this house has been so thoughtfully considered and beautifully selected. There are five large, beautifully decorated bedrooms and four equally beautiful bathrooms. The kitchen is spacious and exceptionally well equipped, and there is a large-screen TV for everyone to enjoy. There’s ample parking space
One of the many thoughtful touches was having two large refrigerators, with one even stocked with different shapes of ice for guests , such a lovely and unexpected detail!
The outdoor area is equally impressive, with an amazing large braai area, ample wood, and a beautiful outdoor dining table positioned next to the fire. We were fortunate to enjoy the wood free of charge as the owners had not yet priced it.
The entire home was spotless and well stocked with everything needed in the kitchen. We were encouraged to enjoy the home while also keeping it tidy, which we truly appreciated.
We prayed for a beautiful place to enjoy the remainder of our holiday, and God gave us Shells on the Kariega. Being the very first guests made the experience even more special, and we feel incredibly fortunate to have discovered this beautiful home.
We will definitely be back! Wishing Mathew and Tinks tremendous success with this beautiful property.
