If you are looking for a laid back, casual beach vacation for the entire family, with a ton of activities both at the resort or nearby in the Town of Duck, look no further than Barrier Island Station.

Enjoy a game of beach volleyball, shuffle board, or tennis; swim or sunbath by the seaside pool or take your beach chairs and stake a claim on the wide lifeguard supervised beach for the day. Small children will enjoy the wadding pool and playground.

At Barrier Island there are several buildings and the unit layouts differ from building to building, but all come with 2 bedrooms, 2 full bathrooms, full kitchen, dining room, living room and outside deck with eating area. There is a sofa bed in the living room and loft area.

Please note because of the hilly terrain and the design of the buildings there are a number of stairs to climb to reach your unit and most units have inside stairs as well ( no elevators).

You will definitely need a vehicle to explore the area. The resort itself is large, but amenities are well within walking distance and there is some parking available at the beach access on the property. There is free parking for one vehicle in front of the building where your unit is located, overflow parking is also available on the property for additional vehicles. Upon checking in you will receive a gat/parking pass to display on your vehicle.
