What absolutely made this accommodation was its location - couldn’t have asked for better! Walking distance to the historic centre, restaurants and bars of Colonia Americana, excellent street food at the nearby plazas, safe neighbourhood. Plus nice views of the cathedral from our window.
The room was compact but modern, clean and private. Extra large and comfy bed. Wifi worked great.
Initially we had some troubles with the keypad lock as the instructions weren’t very clear, however the host responded quickly.
When we checked in they had only supplied one towel for two people for 4 nights, and one toilet roll that was already 80% used up.
The shower was poor - hot water was very unreliable. Several days we had no running water at all but we understand this was beyond the hotel’s control, the city has a severe problem with clean water supply.
