Unfortunately, there was nothing about the apartment itself that I liked. It did not match the price, the photos, or my expectations. The only positive thing I can mention is the convenient location.
Unfortunately, the apartment was very disappointing and definitely did not match the price.
The apartment itself is quite small, old, and its overall condition leaves a lot to be desired. The cleaning was also very poor. The floor was visibly dirty when I arrived, and in general the apartment did not feel properly cleaned before check-in.
There was also a strong sewage smell coming from the bathroom. Immediately after checking in, I found a small bag containing an unknown substance near the entrance, which was very unpleasant and concerning.
The bedding was another problem. It felt very synthetic and was extremely uncomfortable to sleep under because I was constantly sweating during the night.
Another thing I really do not understand is the check-in and check-out policy. Guests are required to leave by 10:00 in the morning, while new guests cannot check in until 17:00. This means there is a seven-hour gap between guests. Of course, I understand that the owner has the right to set their own rules, but considering how small this apartment is and, more importantly, how poorly it was cleaned when I arrived, I find such a long gap very difficult to justify. If seven hours are reserved between guests, I would at least expect the apartment to be thoroughly cleaned and ready for the next guest. In my opinion, requiring guests to leave as early as 10:00 while only allowing check-in at 17:00 is very inconvenient and shows little consideration for guests, especially when the apartment is still not properly cleaned.
Considering all of this, I think the apartment is seriously overpriced. Just before staying here, I rented a much larger apartment at São Paulo 55 for approximately the same price. It was spacious, modern, beautifully renovated and, most importantly, very clean.
After spending two nights here, I really cannot understand how the price is justified.
