We had an absolutely amazing stay at Ocean Mandala in Ahangama. Everything was perfect from start to finish!
The room was incredibly spacious, beautifully designed, brand new, and full of thoughtful little details that made the stay feel really special. Everything was spotless and so well cared for. We especially loved the super cool Marshall speakers, the stunning ocean views, and the amazing swimming pool — the perfect place to relax and enjoy the surroundings.
The whole place is surrounded by beautiful tropical nature, which makes it feel incredibly peaceful and special. One of our favorite little moments was waking up and seeing groups of funny monkeys coming by to say good morning! It really made us feel immersed in the nature and wildlife of Sri Lanka.
But what truly made our stay unforgettable was Ashintha and his wonderful family. They welcomed us with so much warmth and kindness and made us feel completely at home from the very beginning. Ashintha is also a driver, and thanks to him we were able to discover the area in a much more authentic and local way. He introduced us to local people and places and helped us experience a side of Sri Lanka that we probably wouldn’t have discovered on our own.
The hospitality from Ashintha and his family was exceptional. They were incredibly friendly, helpful and attentive throughout our stay.
We couldn’t have asked for a better experience: beautiful and spacious rooms, an amazing pool, incredible ocean views, lush tropical surroundings, monkeys visiting in the morning, and above all, wonderful people. Ocean Mandala was definitely one of the highlights of our trip to Sri Lanka.
We would come back in a heartbeat. 100% recommended!
