De villa was privé met een eigen zwembad en was sfeervol ingericht. Iedere ochtend kregen we vers bereid ontbijt. De supervisor Dissanayake kwam vaak vragen of alles naar wens was. Ook de kok kwam na het ontbijt vragen of het goed had gesmaakt. De bananenpannenkoeken waren overheerlijk. De vriendelijkheid en hulpvaardigheid van Bandara, Didula en Roshan.
De woonkamer van de villa is niet binnen, maar buiten met uitzicht op het zwembad. In verband met muggen en gebrek aan airco is dit niet altijd even fijn. Er zijn geen horren bij de bedden. De villa is gelegen in een smalle straat. Als je met een privéchauffeur rondrijdt moet je vanaf de hoofdweg nog een klein stukje lopen.

We stayed at the K1 villa 4 nights at the end of our 4 week trip throughout Sri Lanka! This was the perfect end of our trip, we could’ve stayed way longer at this very unique and nice place! Not only the villa is great obviously with the great pool, open living area and big table to play games with the kids and have drinks! The location is great, out of the busy area but still within minutes you are at the beach or nice cafes like Ceylon Clider, Cactus, Mermaids etc
The pool is amazing! Also for the little ones!
A special thanks for the amazing staff, super friendly, great service! Yet they are located in a separate building in between of the villas they respect the privacy very well but are ready once you want! Also the cleaning is amazing, when you go out to the beach they clean everything so you arrive in a clean villa again
Chef Bandara with his colleague makes the perfect breakfast and deliver an amazing job with the dinners! Really good restaurant quality and we loved it!

Amazing villa with nice staff. An oasis to ourselves, pool was so beautiful. Villa is gated and it is security/staff there. Great breakfast and food service. They can prepare you any meals from a rich menu for the cost of the groceries. It was really tasteful and affordable. They also prepared delightful breakfast from menu every day, and chef came out personally everytime to check everything was ok. Tuk Tuk across the street for the short ride to center of Ahangama (2km), if not walking distance to Kabalana beach. The earlier comments on that the other apartment needs to walk through property is resolved, and you are fully on your own.
Missed some personalized check-in information and it was a bit hard to get in touch to prepare check in. Note other than refrigerator and coffee/tea maker/cups there are no utensils or anything to prepare meal on your own. We used Uber Eat one day and Villa was happy to provide us cutlery etc.
