They didn’t return my deposit, even after asking 3x via whatsapp.

MRT is not so far

It was not very clean, the cleaner was still there when I entered the room around 3pm. They didn’t return my deposit, even after asking 3x via whatsapp. They charge a 4% fee id you want to pay by card; very strange.

I made a booking via Booking.com and previously sent a WhatsApp message to inform the property that I would be checking in late. Since I didn't receive a reply, I assumed they had taken note of it. However, on the day of check-in, the staff member who messaged me initially claimed there were no rooms available because I hadn't made a reservation. I was quite upset when they insisted I had no booking. It was only after I showed them our previous WhatsApp conversation that they realized they had completely missed my message. At first, the staff just apologized but still insisted there were no rooms left, blaming me for checking in late without informing the hotel. I had to ask them to re-read the message I sent days prior. They apologized again, and despite the frustration, I forgave them because I was simply too exhausted and just wanted to rest after traveling to Kuala Lumpur. After double-checking, the staff found one last available room. I agreed to take it immediately, as long as we had a place to stay. We stayed for two nights. The stay itself was uneventful, except for a clogged bathroom drain that caused water to pool while showering. The most disappointing experience, however, happened during check-out. I politely asked the staff for a brief 30-minute late check-out because I was thoroughly exhausted from attending an event the day before. The staff strictly refused and stubbornly insisted that we check out right at 12:00 PM. My wife and I used to stay at Chambers frequently, but this will definitely be our last time. It was a deeply disappointing experience.
