About this house rental
The house is tucked into a low-key residential neighborhood just a few blocks from the beach and boardwalk, so it’s easy to settle into beach-town life while you’re here. Walk or bike to the beach, go for a morning run on the boardwalk, grab coffee at Ventnor 7311, sandwiches from Florida Cold Cuts, or pizza from Zorro’s—all close by. Ventnor has a relaxed, neighborhood feel that we love, while still putting you within easy reach of everything along the shore.
This renovated beach house is bright and airy, with a large, open main room and plenty of outdoor living space. The main room is made for spending time together—cooking, dining, playing games, watching movies, or just hanging out.
The main room opens onto a deck with a Blackstone grill and two outdoor sofas—a lovely spot for morning coffee, evening drinks, or hanging out while dinner is on the grill. Underneath the deck is a covered outdoor dining area, perfect for dinner, rainy days, or when you need a little break from the sun.
There are two full bathrooms in the house, both with bathtub/showers, plus a refreshing outdoor shower—the best after a day at the beach!
The house has three bedrooms, each with its own pretty, playful wallpaper and decor. The green bedroom has a full-size bed, the blue bedroom has a queen, and the natural bedroom has a king. The sofa in the main room is also large enough for someone to sleep on, and there is a queen air mattress available as well.
We have loads of beach gear ready to go, including beach chairs and towels, a wagon, beach toys, water soakers, umbrellas, and a beach canopy.
There are plenty of lawn games and toys, too, including XL Connect Four, XL Jenga, a basketball hoop and basketballs, plus lots of kids' toys throughout the house.
The house is especially well suited for one or two small families or up to three couples. It’s very family-friendly, with plenty of space to spend time together as well as spread out indoors and out. It can also be a lovely spot for a small family celebration or gathering.
The house does have central heat for cooler nights. There is no central air conditioning, but with the windows and doors open on all sides the constant beach breeze keeps the house pretty cool.
***Note: Our family has a dog that stays at this house from time to time. If anyone in your party is allergic to dogs this house may not be suitable for you.
