About this house rental
Welcome to La Chaumette, a pleasant 110 m² fishing house fully equipped, nestled in the heart of the most typical and sought-after neighborhood of Les Sables d'Olonne: La Chaume.
Among its picturesque alleyways, its shops just a stone's throw away and the unique marine atmosphere, you will stay just a few minutes from the docks, beaches and the ferry to reach the city center.
Whether it's for a family vacation, a reunion with friends or a remote work stay, the house was designed to offer absolute comfort for up to 6 people.
Living space & equipment
- On the ground floor:
Bright living space: Warm living room with television, office space for your remote work sessions (High-speed Fiber Wifi) and an ethanol fireplace to warm your winter evenings.
Fully equipped kitchen: For food lovers, everything is here! Oven, induction cooktop, microwave, dishwasher, large refrigerator/freezer, toaster, kettle and two coffee options (filter coffee maker + ground coffee maker).
Night side: A first comfortable bedroom (140x190 bed).
Practice: An independent toilet and a laundry area with a washing machine.
- On the floor:
Bedroom: Double bed 140x190 with its own TV for cozy evenings.
Bedroom: Double bed 140x190 also equipped with a TV.
Bathroom: Beautiful walk-in shower with toilet.
(A fan is at your disposal for hot summer days).
- The exteriors & bonuses:
The Patio: A true haven of peace, intimate and sunny, equipped with a gas barbecue for your grilling and outdoor meals.
Bike garage: Although the house has no private parking (free street parking in the neighborhood), the secure garage entrance allows you to store your bikes, surfboards or motorcycles with complete peace of mind.
The neighborhood: La Chaume
A true "village within the city", La Chaume is the historic cradle of Sables d'Olonne. You can do everything on foot or by bike:
Stroll through the narrow streets with colorful houses.
Enjoy the terraces of cafes and restaurants on the Chaume quay.
Take the ferryman (bus-boat) 500 meters away to cross the channel in 3 minutes and find yourself on the Grande Plage.
Explore the Côte Sauvage, the Arundel lighthouse and the surrounding priories.
📅 Practical Information
Arrival: In-person or self-check-in available from 4:30 PM / 5:00 PM
Departure: between 8:00 AM and 10:00 AM (Low season and outside events: late departure available as an option.)
🧼 Cleaning: End-of-stay cleaning is included! We simply ask you to: empty the trash, strip the beds (if option taken), wash and put away the dishes, leave the accommodation relatively clean. Thank you!
🛏️ Linens: Sheets & towels optional, to be reserved with the concierge
🔒 Security Deposit: Security deposit via bank imprint (Swikly), not charged except in case of damage
