Stepney Green offers a quieter residential setting while placing guests close to some of East London’s most characterful districts. Stepney City Farm provides a peaceful urban escape with farm animals, gardens, a café and a popular Saturday farmers’ market. Whitechapel is also nearby, home to the Whitechapel Gallery and within easy reach of the restaurants, markets and creative energy of Brick Lane, Aldgate and Shoreditch.

The surrounding area has an excellent selection of places to eat and drink. Tayyabs in Whitechapel is a long-established family-run restaurant known for traditional Punjabi cooking and its popular lamb chops, while nearby Lahore Kebab House is another well-known choice for grilled meats, curries and freshly baked naan. For drinks, guests can visit The Blind Beggar on Whitechapel Road, The Half Moon on Mile End Road or head towards Limehouse for The Grapes, a historic riverside pub overlooking the Thames.

Transport connections are excellent. Stepney Green Underground Station is approximately four-tenths of a mile away and is served by the District and Hammersmith & City lines, offering straightforward journeys towards Whitechapel, Liverpool Street, the City and central London. Limehouse Station is also approximately four-tenths of a mile away, providing DLR services towards Bank and Canary Wharf, alongside c2c National Rail connections towards Fenchurch Street. Mile End Underground Station is approximately half a mile away and is served by the Central, District and Hammersmith & City lines, providing fast access across central, west and east London.

The property will only accept the number of guests booked as per the booking confirmation. Any additional guests not confirmed on the booking will not be accepted or subject to an additional charge.

Each guest will be asked to complete a pre-check-in form prior to arrival and be asked to share a form of governmental identification, Passports are required for non UK residents and UK drivers licence or passport is required for UK nationals.

This property is located in a residential area and guests are asked to refrain from excessive noise, and will not accommodate hen, stag or similar parties.

We would like to mention the check-in process:
With City Relay, the standard option of self check-in and usually means collecting your key from a local Key Nest location close to the property or via an onsite lockbox. We do also offer the option of an in person assisted check-in and should you request this, one of the team will meet you at the property to hand over the keys and give you a quick tour of the property. For this service a fee of £40 would apply between 4pm and 7pm and a fee of £60 would apply from 7pm onwards.

Guests must leave the property in the same state as when they checked in. Please be careful with art, books and things of value in the house.
