Located in the countryside of Massa Martana, in the heart of Umbria, Tenuta Bellombra enjoys a strategic position, ideal for exploring some of the region’s most fascinating destinations, including medieval villages, art cities, natural landscapes and food and wine traditions.
In about 15 minutes by car, you can reach Todi, one of the most charming towns in Umbria, famous for Piazza del Popolo, the Duomo and the Tempio di Santa Maria della Consolazione.
Around 25–30 minutes away are Montefalco and Bevagna, two villages rich in history and charm. Montefalco, known as the “Ringhiera dell’Umbria” for its beautiful panoramic views, is also renowned for its Sagrantino wine, while Bevagna preserves a fascinating medieval centre and important remains from Roman times. Within the same distance, you can also visit Narni, with its hilltop village, underground routes and the remains of the ancient Ponte di Augusto.
In about 40 minutes by car, you can reach Spoleto, with its Duomo, the Rocca Albornoziana and the famous Ponte delle Torri, or spend a day surrounded by nature in the Parco fluviale del Nera and admire the spectacular Cascata delle Marmore.
About 50–60 minutes from the villa are Assisi, Perugia and Orvieto, three of Umbria’s most important art cities. Assisi is known worldwide for the Basilica di San Francesco, Perugia charms visitors with its medieval palaces and museums, while Orvieto is famous for its impressive Duomo, Pozzo di San Patrizio and fascinating underground city.
Nature lovers and outdoor enthusiasts can also explore the Monti Martani, located close to Massa Martana, offering panoramic trails, trekking and mountain bike routes, woods and unspoilt landscapes.
Among the excursions not to be missed is the archaeological area of Carsulae, where the remains of an ancient Roman city stand along the route of the Via Flaminia, surrounded by a beautiful natural setting. Also easily reachable are the Parco fluviale del Tevere, the Fonti del Clitunno and the Parco del Monte Subasio, ideal for walks and nature excursions.
Massa Martana is also an excellent starting point for discovering Umbria’s food and wine traditions, with tastings of local wines, extra virgin olive oil, truffles, cured meats and regional dishes. This authentic area, with its gentle hills, small villages and historic farms, is perfect for those wishing to combine relaxation, culture and discovery of the territory.

At the back of the villa, near the entrance to the sleeping area of the new wing and the main living area, there is the outdoor dining area. Perfectly shaded, it is furnished with a long table designed to comfortably accommodate all guests. Here you will also find the barbecue, ideal for preparing convivial dinners and enjoying pleasant evenings together.
Opposite the outdoor dining area there is a ping-pong table, perfect for moments of fun during the day and relaxed afternoons in company.
Moving towards the front of the villa, you reach the outdoor relaxation area, also well shaded and furnished with sofas and small tables, designed for enjoying the peaceful atmosphere of the garden and relaxing moments outdoors. From here, through a large French door, there is direct access to the indoor dining room.
Right in front of the relaxation area is the swimming pool, equipped with sun loungers and large umbrellas. It is the perfect place to cool off on hot days, relax in the sun or simply enjoy time together, surrounded by the quiet of the Umbrian countryside.
Surrounded by the green hills of Umbria, Tenuta Bellombra is a beautifully restored traditional farmhouse, designed to welcome large groups in a comfortable, authentic and charming setting. With its 9 double bedrooms, spacious interiors, several independent areas and large garden, the villa is ideal for accommodating up to 18 guests, offering the perfect balance between convivial moments and privacy.

The property is arranged across several areas, including the main living area, the new wing and the historic wing of the farmhouse.

The main living area is set on two levels connected by an internal staircase. On the lower level, also accessible from outside through the entrances at the back of the villa, where the outdoor dining area is located, there is a modern fully equipped kitchen with peninsula, large fridge, oven and hob. In the adjacent room there is a breakfast area with two tables, complete with toaster, kettle, orange juicer, microwave and both espresso and American coffee machines. A guest bathroom is also available on this level.

From the breakfast area, an internal staircase leads to the ground floor, where you will find the main dining room, furnished with a large table ideal for comfortably seating the whole group. The French doors open directly onto the shaded outdoor relaxation area overlooking the swimming pool, creating a pleasant connection between the indoor and outdoor spaces.

Next to the outdoor dining area, a staircase leads to the first sleeping area, located in the new wing of the villa and also featuring a pleasant terrace. This area includes:

2 kitchens with oven and hob, sofa and table, one of which is also accessible from the terrace;
2 double bedrooms with en-suite bathroom with shower;
2 double bedrooms;
1 bathroom with shower;
1 bathroom with shower and whirlpool bathtub.
Walking along the villa on the pool side, you reach the second sleeping area, located in the historic wing of the farmhouse and arranged over two floors.

Through a small hallway, furnished with a sofa and desk, an internal staircase leads to the second floor, where there are:

The villa is equipped with mosquito screens and offers air conditioning in all bedrooms and in the ground-floor dining room overlooking the swimming pool, ensuring a pleasant and comfortable stay even during the warmest months.
