Chatsworth (15 miles), the medieval Haddon Hall (12 miles) and Alton Towers (15 miles) are well worth a visit. Buxton, renowned for its Opera House and Pavilion Gardens, is 11 miles away. Some of the best walks in Derbyshire can be found to pass through the village so don’t forget your walking boots.

Entering the cottage leads you into the cosy lounge which has a wood burner-effect electric fire, Smart TV and comfortable sofa just waiting for you to sink into after a hard day’s hiking and exploring. The kitchen offers everything you need to rustle up a meal during your stay, along with a dining table adjacent to the lounge, with the downstairs bathroom nearby. Upstairs, the bedroom is perfect for lazy lie ins, with characterful beams creating a cosy atmosphere.

Outside, the cottage offers a shared courtyard with seating, a perfect spot on a summer’s evening. Guests can also benefit from the use of a shared games room with games compendium of table football, mini pool, air hockey and table tennis, and smart TV. This property has a private water supply.
