About this house rental
Get a little downtime in our newly renovated suite located beside the best mountain bike trails in the area. Full kitchen, bike wash, in-suite bike/ski storage, and outdoor sitting area included. Blocks from the main street and access to trails. You can ride right from your door! Downtime Dodge has all you need to rest and relax after a day on the trails in the summer, slopes in the winter, or seeing the sites of the beautiful Comox Valley. Come and enjoy all that Cumberland has to offer!
The space
Our guest property is a full one bedroom lower level separate legal suite with private entrance that is fenced off from the main house. The place is suitable for a couple or for a couple and an extra guest/child. We are also pet friendly and can accomodate one pet. We have a queen bed in the main bedroom as well as a small double futon in the Livingroom that is comfortable for one. The suite is in the lower half of our house. As with any lower level suite you can expect some sounds from the upstairs unit. We also have our own pets. PLEASE NOTE DURING THE WINTER MONTHS the access to the side yard and bike wash station maybe limited due to snow and frost.
Guest access
Guests have access to the suite through a side gate, their own private fenced in area with an outdoor seating area beside our gardens nestled in cedars. Access is a separate entrance from the main house. You access the suite down the left side of the main house through the first gate then directly to the right is the door at the back of the house.
Other things to note
Please, NO third party bookings.
Parking is provided for ONE vehicle in the left driveway. Street parking is available as well. If you are travelling with 2 vehicles, please let us know, the driveway will fit 2 smaller vehicles if needed.
We have a BIKE WASH area for use in the warmer months, as well as an IN SUITE bike/ski storage to lock up your equipment overnight.
We allow pets! Please indicate you are travelling with a pet when you book. There is an additional 35$ fee for a pet. NOTE: We have 3 dogs on the property but have a separate fenced area.
Chandler: A young Schnoodle who will bark a little when you first come in but is otherwise friendly.
Jack: A Siberian Husky calm and friendly and loves to say hi to the guests.
Maddy: A Malamute/Siberian mix. A little older and very sweet.
ALL dogs are separated from the suite by a gate and fence. Please keep the gates closed when you are coming and going!
