About this house rental

Summary:

A beautiful three-bedroom Victorian house on a quiet street between East Dulwich, Peckham and Camberwell. Original fireplaces, stripped floorboards and sash windows, a warm kitchen-diner that seats six, two bathrooms and two proper desk spaces. The garden has a lawn, two terraces, fruit trees and a barbecue. East Dulwich station is 400m away - London Bridge in around ten minutes. A real family home, and an easy, comfortable base for exploring London.

The Space:

A characterful Victorian terrace, carefully finished and genuinely comfortable.

The kitchen-diner is the heart of the house: stone worktops, a Bosch double oven, a wide induction hob, a bean-to-cup coffee machine and a table for six.

The principal bedroom spans the front with twin sash windows, a cast-iron fireplace and fitted wardrobes. A second double sits under the eaves, with a third bedroom alongside.

The Neighborhood:

Ivanhoe Road is a quiet street tucked behind Dog Kennel Hill, almost equidistant between three of south London's best neighbourhoods.

Lordship Lane in East Dulwich - delis, bookshops, wine bars and Sunday-lunch pubs - is a ten minute walk. Bellenden Road in Peckham is under ten minutes the other way, with Peckham Levels and the Bussey Building close behind.

Peckham Rye Park and Dulwich Park are nearby, and Dulwich Picture Gallery and the Horniman Museum are a short bus ride.

Getting Around:

East Dulwich station is about 400m away - roughly a five minute walk - with direct trains to London Bridge in around ten minutes.

Denmark Hill is about 800m: Victoria in 13 minutes, Blackfriars in 14 and St Pancras International in 24. The Overground from Denmark Hill connects to the Jubilee line for Canary Wharf.

Buses 40, 176, 185 and P13 all stop within a few minutes' walk, running to Waterloo, Victoria, Streatham and New Cross.

The house is comfortably walkable to King's College Hospital.

It is a quiet residential street - we ask guests to keep noise down after 10pm out of respect for the neighbours.
