The Space:

The Artist’s Flat at Brooklyn is a first floor, easy access artist-owned home filled with original artwork and the colorful, eclectic style of its owner. Every room in the 2 bedroom, 2 bath condo reflects her love of art and her personal creative expression, making this a home with a personality all its own. The kitchen is fully stocked and there is a dishwasher and washer/dryer for your convenience. Complimentary starter supplies, including toiletries, paper products, dish soap, trash bags and household essentials are provided upon arrival.

Set in Wilmington’s Brooklyn Arts District, the Artist’s Flat is surrounded by a community of artists, makers, and locally owned businesses. Although coffee is provided in the condo there is a coffee shop directly across the street that serves the best beignets outside of New Orleans! Don't feel like cooking? A couple of lunch time favorites with locals are The Kitchen Sink and Commodore's, also right across the street. from the Brooklyn House. You can catch your favorite sporting event on the TVs at the Goat and Compass, or enjoy live music and a pint in their beer garden. If jazz is more your thing, Ave B is half a block from Brooklyn House. For more lively nightlife downtown, with its plethora of bars, clubs, breweries and restaurants, is just a 15 minute walk.



Because the Brooklyn Arts District is a lively urban neighborhood just outside downtown proper, occasional city sounds, music, and activity are part of the experience, particularly on evenings and weekends. Wilmington restricts excessive noise after 12 midnight on Friday and Saturday and 11pm on Sunday through Thursday. Please observe quit hours and respect your neighbors.
