About this house rental
The house includes a new kitchen and bath, central heat and AC, and a private patio with gas BBQ grill, table and lounge furniture. In addition to the living room with smart TV, there is a separate sunroom/dining area for up to 6 inside, and 4 outside on the patio.
The house is part of a duplex (one shared wall), but all areas for your use are private, including the outdoor space. There is off-street parking for 1 vehicle in the driveway, and street parking in the neighborhood is free.
All areas described are for guests' exclusive use. 2 bikes with helmets (and a bike pump as needed) are available for the exclusive use of guests in this space.
We're located across from Balboa Park in the Marston Hills/Hillcrest neighborhood of San Diego. It's a short walk to the zoo or University Avenue in Hillcrest - with shops, restaurants, bars, and grocery. North Park is adjacent as is Banker's Hill on the other side of the park.
Walk, Uber/Lyft, or short drive to most San Diego attractions. The area is also very bike friendly.
We have upgraded all of our bedding (pillows, duvets, sheets/linens and towels to Brooklinen branded linens. In addition, all of our toiletries (bath/shower/soaps) are now provided by Public Goods of New York.
Note for longer stays: we provide toiletries and paper products for shorter stays/to get you started. Longer stays will want to plan to supply paper towel, toilet paper, and toiletries, dependent on your personal preferences. We provide several rolls of TP, dish soap, dishwasher detergent, laundry detergent, basic bathroom toiletries, and basic cleaning supplies (along with a vacuum and steam sweeper mop). Each guest may have personal preferences or different usage, so we just want to be clear that we provide starter/shorter stay supplies for these items.
