Walk through the arched entry gate and cross a small courtyard lined with bougainvillea before you reach the front door. Terracotta floors run through the living areas, hallways, and every bedroom, and folk art paintings line the walls next to the staircase.
The kitchen anchors the main floor, with counter space for real cooking and a run of barstools along the island where someone always ends up parked while dinner comes together. Seven bedrooms give your group real privacy. Several rooms hold two twin beds for kids or friends sharing a trip, and one of those rooms has a wet bar built into the wall, with a sink and a mini fridge. Other rooms carry a queen or king bed made from thick, hand carved wood with matching nightstands and reading lamps. Ceiling fans and air conditioning cool every room, and a handful of bedrooms open onto a private balcony with the Sea of Cortez in view from the pillow.
Climb to the third floor terrace and the whole bay opens in front of you. A rocky mountain rises out of turquoise water across the water, and palm trees and red tile roofs fill the shoreline below. A wood pergola shades the seating area up here, ideal for coffee at sunrise or wine at sunset.
Downstairs, the pool sits under a wide covered terrace with iron railings, shaded enough for an afternoon nap and open enough for full sun. Fire up the BBQ area for shrimp, carne asada, or fish tacos while the kids swim laps before dinner.

Check-in runs from 3PM to 8PM. Arrivals after 8PM carry a $25 late check-in fee, so plan your drive around the time. Bring your own towels, since the home does not supply them for guests.
