Watch the sun come up over Lake Winnipesaukee at this light-filled guesthouse on Long Island, beautifully positioned with a view of the water, the treetops, and the mountains in the distance. Spend your days walking to the beach up the road, launching your kayaks from the dock, and dining alfresco in the cool breezes wafting off the lake.
This guesthouse sits just behind a lakefront home, with which it shares its property and the 25-foot dock on the grounds (one side of the dock is available to you).
The Space:
Here on the north side of the island, it's a quick stroll (half a mile) to Long Island Beach and an easy drive to both Center Harbor (nine miles) and Moultonborough (10 miles).
Begin each morning with coffee at sunrise on the elevated deck, and set the outdoor table for breakfast beneath the umbrella. After a day of paddleboarding or fishing for rainbow trout, use the gas grill on the side patio to prepare dinner and gather back upstairs on the deck for cocktails and card games.
The single-story interior is bright and open, with views of the lake and trees framed by walls of glass. At the heart of the house is a spacious great room, bringing together a well-equipped kitchen, a dining area, and a living room with a Roku TV. Central air, a washer/dryer, and complimentary WiFi are provided as well.

Streaming services are available with guests' own account credentials.
Check-in time: 4:00 PM.
Check-out time: 10:00 AM.
All guests shall abide by the good neighbor policy and shall not engage in illegal activity. Quiet hours are from 10:00 PM to 8:00 AM.
