The Space:

Hamilton Country Retreat 1 by Tiny Away sits on a wide, private stretch of land with the mountains of Kangaroo Valley framing every direction you look. The tiny house opens onto uninterrupted views across open countryside. The only sounds competing for your attention are birdsong and the occasional rustle of wildlife passing through.



Enjoy the generous outdoor space, where you can watch the sunrise over the ranges, admire vibrant evening skies, and spot kangaroos and native birds in their natural habitat. The peaceful surroundings make it easy to slow down and unwind.



When you're ready to explore, Morton National Park, Belmore Falls, Fitzroy Falls, Hampden Bridge, and the Pioneer Village Museum are all within easy reach, while Shoalhaven Heads is just over an hour away for a scenic coastal day trip.



This cozy 170-square-foot tiny home features a lofted queen-sized bed and a convertible single bed couch on the ground floor. It has easy access to water, split air conditioning, a kitchenette, cooking equipment, and excellent bathroom facilities, including a compost toilet, hand basin, and shower (gas-heated for hot showers). The tiny home features stairs that provide easy access to the loft; however, guests are advised to use extra care when going up and down.

Just a short drive away, discover iconic attractions such as Hampden Bridge, Australia's last remaining wooden suspension bridge, the Pioneer Village Museum, and the scenic landscapes of Morton National Park. For nature lovers, Belmore Falls, Fitzroy Falls, and the picturesque Kangaroo River offer endless opportunities for sightseeing and outdoor adventures.



Throughout the year, the region comes alive with events such as the Kangaroo Valley Folk Festival, Agricultural Show, and Garden Festival. When it's time to eat, enjoy local favourites including the Kangaroo Valley Bakery, Hampden Deli, and The Friendly Inn Hotel, where you can savour everything from freshly baked treats and artisan coffee to classic pub meals in a relaxed country setting.



Getting Around:

By Car:



- 2 hours and 150km from Sydney

- 10 minutes from Kangaroo Valley village

- 25 minutes from Nowra and Berry; 40 minutes from the Southern Highlands

- 4WD recommended



By Public Transport:



- No direct public transport to the property

- Trains run to Berry, Nowra, and the Southern Highlands; connect via KV Concierge Taxi

- Cycling to the village is possible, but a stretch



By Flight:



- Fly into Sydney Kingsford Smith Airport (SYD)

- Drive time from Sydney Airport is approximately 2 hours



Other Things to Note:

- Wifi is not available

- No BBQ grill and no fire pit available

- Pets should be kept on a leash at all times

- No unregistered guests or visitors are allowed

- No potable water offered inside the property. Please bring your own

- Please note that more extended stays or late check-outs will incur an extra charge

- Smoking is not permitted inside the tiny house. Please dispose of cigarette butts in the designated bin and do not leave them on the property.
