The Space:

Designed and built by a builder and interior designer couple, the home runs on 3.6 metre ceilings, polished concrete floors, timber and tile, and light all day long. The ground floor opens straight out to the covered alfresco, pool and sundeck, kids get the media room, and the twelve seat table pulls everyone back together at dinner. Afternoons end on the rooftop as the sun drops behind Wollumbin, with a roof that closes over when the weather turns, and through winter you can watch whales pass from the deck.

Guest Access:

Guests have the whole home to themselves, including the plunge pool, rooftop terrace, alfresco, double garage and the bikes. Entry is keyless with your own code, and check-in details plus a full digital guidebook are sent before arrival.



The Neighborhood:

Casuarina is a quiet, premium pocket of the Tweed Coast, with the beach path right out front and Salt Village a short walk up the road. The Commons, Coles and some of the coast's best cafes and restaurants are 300 metres away, Salt Beach Markets run on the third Saturday of the month, and Kingscliff and Cabarita are a few minutes up the road. Winter is the dry season with 21 degree days and whales running June to November, which makes the quiet months here better than most places' peak.



Getting Around:

Gold Coast Airport is 15 to 20 minutes away, close enough that a weekend away from Sydney actually works. Kingscliff and Cabarita are about 7 minutes by car and Byron Bay is 25 minutes south. Day to day you barely need the car: the beach path is at the front door and there are two Lekker pushbikes in the garage for the run to Salt Village or Kingscliff. The garage suits smaller cars, and there's easy street parking too, including spaces at the playground next door.



Other Things to Note:

- External security cameras cover the outside entry points of the property. There are no cameras inside.

- Up to two house-trained dogs are welcome by prior approval. Please ask before booking.

- A pool technician services the pool every few weeks and has his own access to the side gate.

- The rooftop terrace and balconies are elevated, so young children should be supervised.

- The beach out front is a leash-on dog beach, patrolled during school holidays.



House Rules (Important, please read)



To ensure a pleasant stay and maintain good relations with our neighbours and the local council, please adhere to the following:



1. Every group must sign a booking agreement provided by Lively Properties.

2. A security deposit via credit card pre-authorisation is required for non-Airbnb bookings, released 3 days post-checkout.

3. Outdoor areas are off-limits after 10:30 PM, including decks, balconies, spas, and pools.

4. No parties or unapproved gatherings allowed at any time.

5. Loud music or activities that disturb neighbours are prohibited at all times; the property has Noise Alarms.

6. No "schoolies" bookings. Please adhere to this policy.

7. No bookings from groups under the age of 28.

8. Smoking is prohibited both inside and outside the property.

9. Only the number of guests specified in your booking can be on the property.

10. The maximum amount of guests allowed on the property at any time during the day or night is 10.

11,. Parking is only permitted in designated areas on the property; no street or nature strip parking.
