Welcome to Yellowstone Aspen Cabin, a newly remodeled retreat nestled among mature aspen and pine trees on two peaceful acres. Located approximately 7 miles west of West Yellowstone and the West Entrance to Yellowstone National Park, the cabin offers convenient access to the park while providing a quieter setting away from downtown.
Hebgen Lake is approximately 3.5 miles away for fishing, boating, hiking, and scenic adventures. After a day of exploring, relax in the shaded outdoor area, prepare dinner on the Blackstone griddle, or gather around the smokeless fire pit while enjoying the surrounding trees and mountain air.

-Old Faithful & Upper Geyser Basin – Home to Yellowstone's most famous geyser and one of the world's largest concentrations of geysers and hot springs. Approximately 45 minutes from -West Yellowstone
-Grand Prismatic Spring – One of Yellowstone's most spectacular sights, known for its brilliant blue, green, yellow, and orange colors. Approximately 45 minutes from West Yellowstone
-Midway Geyser Basin – Located near Grand Prismatic Spring and home to several impressive geothermal features.
-Norris Geyser Basin – One of the park's hottest and most dynamic geothermal areas. Approximately 1 hour from West Yellowstone
-Madison River – A beautiful introduction to Yellowstone with opportunities for wildlife viewing, photography, fishing, and scenic drives.
-Firehole Canyon & Firehole River – Dramatic scenery, geothermal features, and beautiful stretches of river. Approximately 45 minutes from West Yellowstone

Service Animal Policy
This is a pet-free property. This includes emotional support animals. Only qualifying service animals are permitted. Under federal law, service animals are dogs individually trained to perform specific tasks for people with disabilities. Pets and other animals whose sole function is to provide comfort, companionship, or emotional support do not qualify as service animals and are not permitted.
Misrepresenting a pet as a service animal negatively impacts the quality of life and independence of people who rely on legitimate service animals. Under Montana law, it is illegal to fraudulently misrepresent a pet as a service animal.

Important Information
-Air Conditioning: The cabin does not have central A/C. Fans and the natural mountain breeze help keep the cabin comfortable. Even in July and August, nighttime temperatures can cool to around 50°F. Outside the warmest summer months, evening temperatures are often in the 40s or below. We recommend opening the windows in the evening, then closing the windows and lowering the shades during the day to help keep the cabin naturally cool.
-The cabin is approximately 7 miles from West Yellowstone and the West Entrance to Yellowstone National Park. Guests should plan to drive into town and the park.
-Montana's Natural Environment: The cabin is located in the natural environment of the Greater Yellowstone area. Depending on the season, guests may encounter insects, spiders, birds, bats, wildlife, pollen, smoke or wildfire haze, rain, snow, wind, changing temperatures, and other naturally occurring conditions. These are normal possibilities when staying in Southwest-Montana and are not, by themselves, considered property defects.
-Please review the photos, sleeping arrangements, amenities, and property description carefully before booking to ensure the cabin meets your needs.
-Wi-Fi speeds cannot be guaranteed and may vary based on weather, usage, or service conditions in the area. Please keep in mind that West Yellowstone is a gateway community surrounded by protected wilderness. Infrastructure and development are intentionally limited in many areas to help preserve the natural environment and character of the region.

Year-Round Outdoor Adventure
Summer brings opportunities to explore Yellowstone, fish or boat on Hebgen Lake, book guided tours, hike scenic trails, ride horseback, mountain bike, kayak, paddleboard, and enjoy the surrounding forests and mountain scenery. Other regional attractions include Mesa Falls, Johnny Sack's Cabin, Island Park, and the Wild West Yellowstone Rodeo.
Winter transforms the area into a snowy playground. Explore Yellowstone by snowmobile from the West Entrance, ride the scenic Two Top snowmobile trails, cross-country ski the world-renowned Rendezvous Ski Trails, or enjoy sledding, tubing, and snowshoeing.

Yellowstone National Park Operating Dates
The West Entrance to Yellowstone National Park operates seasonally. The summer season typically runs from the third Saturday in April through November 1. The entrance closes for the fall shoulder season and typically reopens in mid-December for the winter oversnow travel season, which runs through mid-March. After the winter oversnow season ends, the West Entrance remains closed until the summer season begins in April.
