About this house rental
Revel in nature in a 3 bedroom, 2.5-bathroom modern house on 26 acres, plus TV room with pullout couch. Located minutes from Burke Mountain, Kingdom Trails & Lake Willoughby for biking, hiking, paddling, skiing, and snowshoeing. We built Coyote Hill as a gathering place for family and friends that offers a peaceful atmosphere ideal for outdoor enthusiasts and those seeking tranquility in nature. We're so glad to share our little slice of heaven with you.
About the Property:
When we built Coyote Hill in 2021, our goal was to make it feel integrated into nature and a cozy gathering spot.
Outdoors & views:
A wraparound deck and screen porch, telescope and binoculars, fire pit, and delightful views from every window. Trails wind through part of the property for wandering, and in summer you can pick black rasperries along the driveway and trails.
Kitchen & comfort:
A gourmet kitchen with an induction stove and oven, chef's knives and equipment, ice cream maker, Instant Pot, a gas fireplace, AC, fresh air exchanger, a full-house backup generator, and comfy Casper beds throughout.
Internet, work & play:
Starlink internet, small work desks in each bedroom, TV room with a pull-out couch, bocce ball, tetherball, yoga mats, indoor games, and puzzles.
So much to do:
Terrific gravel bike riding at our doorstep and the Kingdom Trails are nearby.
In the fall, take in the foliage and hike nearby mountains. In the winter, snowshoe the property or ski Burke Mountain. In the Spring, visit local sugarhouses and sneak in some end of season skiing. In the summer, explore nearby Lake Willoughby and Center Pond, bike the Kingdom Trails, and enjoy fresh farm stands and all that the Northeast Kingdom has to offer.
Nature enthusiasts can keep an eye out for moose, black bear, deer, and many birds. On clear nights, the stars are awe-inspiring, and you might even catch the northern lights!
Safety & Security:
We have a Ring doorbell camera on the front porch.
Guest Access:
You'll have the whole house to yourself with easy keypad access. We keep the basement and one closet locked to store our stuff.
We sometimes stay in a tiny cabin on the property without interrupting your privacy.
Please note:
We are on a gravel road. From November - April, you need a car with 4WD or AWD. Our roads and driveway are plowed regularly
