The Space:

She might be an old girl on the outside, but step through the door and Driftwood tells a very different story.



Set within an older-style West Beach apartment group, this two-bedroom stay has been beautifully renovated inside, pairing crisp white interiors and pale timber floors with playful bursts of colour, navy cabinetry and warm brass details.



The living and dining space is compact and comfortable, with a sofa for settling in after a day at the beach, Smart TV and dining table for four. There's even a little glimpse towards the coast from the front window, although the apartment does not have direct ocean views.



Continue through to the renovated kitchen, where deep navy cabinetry, stone-look benchtops and brass hardware give the space plenty of personality. It's properly equipped for a stay rather than simply somewhere to make toast, with a full-size fridge, oven, cooktop, microwave, dishwasher and coffee pod machine.



Both bedrooms are light and inviting, with ceiling fans and built-in storage. The main bedroom has a king bed, while the second offers a queen, making Driftwood particularly well suited to couples, friends or a small family travelling together.



And then there's the bathroom.



Wrapped in rich blue tiles with terrazzo-style flooring and brushed brass finishes, it's an unexpected little showstopper. A generous walk-in shower includes both rainfall and handheld shower heads, while the illuminated mirror and contemporary fittings continue the apartment's colourful renovation. The washing machine is also incorporated into the bathroom, making longer stays easy.



Split-system heating and cooling provides year-round comfort, with additional ceiling fans throughout.



But as lovely as the renovation is, Driftwood’s biggest drawcard is what’s waiting outside the front door. West Beach is just across the road, with the sailing club, beachfront café, reserves and recreation facilities all part of the immediate neighbourhood. You can start the morning with coffee by the water, spend the day on the sand and wander home without ever needing the car.

The property is conveniently and thoughtfully set up for a easy self check-in using a coded door lock. The entire apartment is all yours during your stay. Single off-street carpark (for your use only) is located at the rear of the building, with easy access from the apartment, via the back entrance to the building.



The Neighborhood:

West Beach has a wonderfully easy-going feel, sitting between the buzz of Glenelg and Henley Beach while offering a quieter stretch of Adelaide's metropolitan coastline.



At Driftwood, much of that lifestyle is right outside.



Cross the road and you're at the coast, with the beach, beachfront café, Henley Sailing Club and open reserve within easy reach. West Beach Surf Life Saving Club is just along the beachfront, while Adelaide Sailing Club is also nearby, making the apartment an especially convenient base for guests travelling for sailing regattas, surf lifesaving competitions and other coastal events.



The surrounding foreshore offers plenty of space to walk, run or cycle, along with parks and outdoor exercise facilities. Or keep things simple: grab a coffee, find a patch of sand and settle in for the morning.



For a change of pace, head north towards Henley Beach and its restaurants and buzzing square, or south towards Glenelg for shopping, dining, bars and the marina.



Despite feeling firmly on the coast, West Beach is also exceptionally convenient for Adelaide Airport and provides straightforward access into the CBD.



Getting Around:

Having a car is useful for exploring Adelaide, and one dedicated parking space is provided at the property.



For days spent locally, however, you may barely need it. The beach, café, sailing club, reserves and coastal paths are all within easy walking distance.



Adelaide Airport is only a short drive away, making Driftwood particularly convenient for interstate visitors, short Adelaide stopovers and guests arriving for local sporting or sailing events.



Glenelg and Henley Beach are both within easy reach, while Adelaide CBD is approximately a 15 to 20-minute drive depending on traffic.



Public transport is also available along Burbridge and Seaview Road for connections towards the city and surrounding suburbs.

- The property is strictly non-smoking, including all outdoor areas within the building perimeter.

- We supply enough toilet rolls and other consumables for the average stay, however please note for longer stays, and depending on your usage, you may need to purchase more. 1 bath towel and 1 beach towel is provided per guest.

- For extended stays over 21+ nights, mid-stay servicing may be required for the upkeep of the property. We will notify you if this is due to occur.
