The neighborhood is laid back. No houses are visible from the house. There is a nice park (Penn Twp Park) located just next to the property. At the park they have tennis, basket ball, base ball, and a soccer field.

There is good parking at most of the places like Blue Marsh lake, Boyer’s grocery store, Plum Creek Creamery.
