About this house rental
Welcome to Craighead Cottage, our cosy home near Aberlour, in the heart of the Cairngorms National Park. The Cottage has been recently renovated to a high standard throughout with our guests in mind.
Craighead Cottage is set across two floors. Downstairs, guests are welcomed into the cosy living room, featuring comfortable sofas and arm chairs, making it the perfect spot to spend evenings at home with a wee nip of whisky. Our smart TV has freeview channels and access to services such as Netflix and Disney+ to catch up on your favourite shows or films, or enjoy our selection of books or board games.
In the well-equipped Kitchen, there is a dining table for enjoying meals together, whether you decide to cook or enjoy a takeaway. We have a large fridge-freezer, electric oven & hob, microwave, and plenty of space for storing food during your holiday, making the Cottage perfect for self-catering stays.
There are three bedrooms at Craighead Cottage. Downstairs we have a comfortable double bedroom, featuring a large wardrobe for unpacking and hanging items during your stay. This bedroom has stunning views across the surrounding landscape.
Upstairs there are two further bedrooms. Bedroom 2 has a double bed, and bedroom 3 has one single bed, making the cottage perfect for families or groups travelling together.
Please note that the upstairs bedrooms have a lower ceiling height and the stairs are steep, and may not be suitable for all guests.
Our Bathroom completes the property, situated on the ground floor. The Bathroom has been newly renovated and features a large walk-in shower, bath, toilet and sink.
We have a washing machine and tumble dryer in the kitchen for guest use.
Hotel-quality linens, soft towels and luxury toiletries from Scottish Fine Soaps are provided for all guests.
Craighead has a private driveway with space for 2 cars. There is a gravel driveway and garden surrounding the property. The unique and diverse landscapes surrounding Craighead Cottage have created excellent conditions for an array of local wildlife that can be seen near the property, including red squirrels, red and roe deer, pine marten, grouse, red kites and much more.
