Starfish Sands is located on Longboat Key, one of Florida's most beautiful Gulf Coast barrier islands. The island lifestyle right on your doorstep, with deeded Gulf beach access just a short walk from the home.

Longboat Key is known for its beautiful white sandy beaches, turquoise Gulf waters, waterfront restaurants, boating, cycling and relaxed island atmosphere.

Just 0.3 miles away, Joan M. Durante Park offers scenic walking trails, boardwalks through mangroves and beautiful views across Sarasota Bay.

Guests also receive access to Cedars East Club, where you can spend your days swimming, playing tennis, working out or exploring the island using the club bicycles. Hugo II Restaurant and Tiki Bar are also located at the club.

Head south along Longboat Key to discover St. Armands Circle, with its excellent collection of boutiques, restaurants, cafés and bars. Lido Key and Downtown Sarasota are also within easy driving distance.

Whether your ideal day involves the beach, boating, cycling, shopping, dining or simply doing very little at all, Starfish Sands provides an excellent base for experiencing Longboat Key.

Guests have private access to Starfish Sands, which occupies the left-hand side of a two-unit duplex.

The home has its own:

There is no internal access between Starfish Sands and the neighboring residence. The fenced backyard is shared between the two residences.

Guests also receive membership access to Cedars East Club, including the swimming pool, tennis courts, 24/7 fitness facility and bicycle use. Deeded Gulf beach access is located within a short walk of the property.

Designed for relaxed coastal living, Starfish Sands comfortably accommodates up to 6 guests across 2 bedrooms and 2 full bathrooms.

The primary bedroom features a queen bed, private ensuite shower room and direct patio access, creating a comfortable private space to retreat to at the end of the day.

The second bedroom features two queen beds and access to the full hall bathroom.

The bright living area provides plenty of space to relax together, with comfortable furnishings, TV and complimentary WiFi.

The fully equipped kitchen makes longer stays easy, with a dishwasher, cookware, dishes, utensils and everything needed for preparing meals at home. Coffee lovers have the choice of both a Keurig and traditional drip coffee maker.

Step outside to one of the home's best features – the screened lanai and private patio. Enjoy breakfast and coffee in the morning, escape the midday Florida sunshine or settle in for a drink after sunset.

An in-home washer and dryer are also provided.

From the airport:

Exit Sarasota-Bradenton International Airport and head south toward University Parkway.
Continue toward US-41 / Tamiami Trail and head south toward Sarasota.
Continue south on US-41 before turning right onto Gulfstream Avenue toward the barrier islands. Follow Gulfstream Avenue across the John Ringling Causeway toward St. Armands Circle. At St. Armands Circle, follow signs for Longboat Key / FL-789 North.
Continue north over the New Pass Bridge onto Longboat Key.
Follow Gulf of Mexico Drive (FL-789) north toward the property.
Your final property-specific arrival and parking instructions will be provided within your Bay & Key Collection check-in information prior to arrival.

Longboat Key regulations require a minimum stay of 30 consecutive calendar days, with one rental permitted per 30-day period.

Starfish Sands is the left-hand side of a two-unit duplex. Each residence has its own private entrance and there is no internal access between the homes.

The fenced backyard is shared. External security cameras are located at the front of the property on the dividing wall and overlook the front doors, sidewalk and driveway areas.
