Spend your holiday in this characterful home in the Périgord Noir, where a swimming pool and distinctive interior details create an appealing base for exploring the Dordogne. The main living area combines warm pink tones, natural wood and bold slatted wall panelling beneath a high ceiling, with a wooden staircase adding further character. Large glazed doors connect the living space with the outdoor area, while the pool offers a welcome place to cool off after a day of sightseeing.
Carlux is well placed for discovering some of the best-known sights of the Périgord Noir. Wander through the historic streets of Sarlat-la-Canéda, visit the riverside village of La Roque-Gageac or explore the hilltop village of Domme. The Dordogne Valley also invites you to take to the river by canoe, while numerous hiking trails lead through the surrounding countryside. Prehistoric caves and sites provide another fascinating insight into the region, and local markets are excellent places to discover traditional Périgord produce and culinary specialities.
