About this cottage rental
Stabal Derwin is a traditional barn conversion with lots of character features. Two bedrooms, sleeping four, this quirky property is filled with colour mixed with traditional and statement pieces of furniture. With close access to the A487, its location is perfect for exploring the North Wales region.
The main sitting room is so sumptuous, the use of large leather sofas, original floorboards, large bookcases filled with books, traditional rugs, exposed beams and brickwork make it so inviting and special. French doors open out onto the surrounding trees and fields. The log burner finishes off the room and you'll find it hard to pull yourself away from spending relaxing days in here.
From the sitting room, a corridor takes you through to the bedrooms. A double and twin. As with the sitting room, the bedrooms are full of life and character - wrought iron beds, distressed furniture and the traditional welsh blankets make them all feel really homely. More books so you certainly won't be stuck for anything to read if you forgot to bring your own! Lots of colour which has been tastefully incorporated makes this property a real change from the more muted tones that tend to be used these days.
The family bathroom is opposite the bedrooms and includes a bath, WC and washbasin - traditional white with splashes of victorian style black tiles dotted around is exactly what you would expect from the way the rest of the house is decorated.
At the end of the house is the kitchen. Another fab room, it's a good size and has everything you will need to cater for your group - including an AGA and large Smeg fridge - we love all these touches. Traditional cream units along with a large farm style kitchen table with the obligatory colourful oilcloth make this a lovely room to cook and eat - it will be warm and cosy and cooking on an AGA makes life very easy when you get to grips with them. There is a back door leading out into the garden.

One Travel Cot and Highchair on request (cot-linen not provided).
We’re happy to welcome 2 well-behaved dogs. Please keep them supervised at all times and don’t leave them unattended. To keep the space comfy for everyone, we kindly ask that they stay off the furniture and out of the bedrooms.
Feel free to bring their favourite bed, blanket, and anything else to make them feel at home!
