About this apartment rental
This newly renovated space is a cozy getaway from a busy world - connect, slow down, and enjoy the sights and sounds of the island.
Centrally located and less than a mile from the ferry dock. It has 1 bedroom and 1 full bath. Fully stocked for at home cooking.
Come on the right day and you can walk the tidelands around the island.
It’s a ground-floor apartment with no steps and easy driveway access. We live on the second floor, are quiet, and don’t mind music and some noise.
The space
The location is ideal for exploring Bainbridge, Seattle, or as a stop-over on your way to the Olympics or Washington coast.
It’s a 2 minute drive from the Bainbridge ferry terminal making downtown Seattle a scenic boat ride away and Seatac airport reachable via lightrail from downtown Seattle.
On the island our place is centrally located with trails, beaches, and everything the island has to offer no more than a 15 minute drive away.
The space is full of personal touches like artisanal stoneware and handmade glasses, art, instruments, and hard to find books on navigating the water ways and the history of the Puget sound. We want everyone to feel at home and like you have a space to rest, relax, connect and create.
There is in-unit laundry, microwave, TV, toiletries like shampoo, conditioner and soap. None of that cheap hotel stuff.
The space is on the first floor of our two story home. We are private and quiet - but don’t mind saying hello and offering our favorite restaurants and beaches. We also don’t mind music and enjoyment, so enjoy to your hearts desire.
Guest access
You’ll have the entire apartment to yourself with easy self check-in. You can access a hidden pocket park between the two houses across the street from us and you’re welcome to enjoy the immersive front garden – formerly a lawn.
