Built in 2020, this comfortable three-bedroom, two-bath home is tucked away on a quiet unpaved road in Otis, Massachusetts. With an open floor plan, spacious, fully equiped kitchen, large deck, fenced backyard, and room for up to six guests, it’s an easy home base for a Berkshire weekend, family vacation, couples’ getaway, or longer stay.

The Home

The open-concept kitchen, dining, and living area is designed for spending time together. The large, well-equipped kitchen has plenty of room for preparing meals, and the dining table seats zsix—perfect for lingering over dinner, playing games, or planning the next day’s adventures.

The home has three comfortable bedrooms:

Primary bedroom: King bed and private en suite bathroom
Bedroom 2: Queen bed
Bedroom 3: Queen bed
Second full bathroom: Conveniently located for the two queen bedrooms

The primary en suite feels like a little retreat of its own, with a separate Jacuzzi tub and spacious shower with a built-in seat and oversized rain shower head.

Fast Wi-Fi and two TVs make it easy to relax at the house when you aren't out exploring.

Nine Private Acres & a Fenced Backyard

One of our favorite things about the property is the setting. The house sits on nine wooded acres, giving you plenty of privacy and a true Berkshire-country feel.

Step outside to enjoy the large back deck, grill, and pellet-fueled patio heater. The fenced backyard gives dogs and their people a convenient outdoor space to enjoy. The fence is intended to discourage larger wildlife from entering the immediate yard, but this is the Berkshires and wildlife is part of the experience, so we can't guarantee animals won't find their way in. The backyard also has a playhouse/playscape for kids.

Dogs are welcome with no additional pet fee.

A Great Home Base for Exploring the Berkshires

The house is located in Otis, with convenient access to many of the experiences that make the Berkshires special.

Spend summer days exploring Otis Reservoir or other lakes, rivers and parks. Head out for hiking, enjoy the area's beautiful back roads and forests, or spend an afternoon discovering nearby towns.

We're also within easy driving distance of some of the Berkshires' best-known destinations, including Jacob's Pillow, Tanglewood, Lee, Lenox, Great Barrington, and other cultural and outdoor attractions.

After a day out, come home to the peace and quiet of your own private retreat.

We want guests to know what to expect before booking:

• The house is not directly on a lake, but swimming and water recreation are nearby.
• The home does not have central air conditioning. All bedrooms have large ceiling fans.
• The house is located on a quiet unpaved country road.
• Because we're surrounded by woods, you may see deer, turkeys and other Berkshire wildlife.
• Dogs are welcome, and there is no additional pet fee.
• The home is a single-story ranch, making most of the primary living space conveniently located on one level.
