De Vuursteen is an atmospheric group accommodation, beautifully situated in a rural and nature-rich environment. The renovated old farmhouse combines authentic character with modern comfort and luxury, allowing you to enjoy a carefree holiday here. The accommodation is located next to the magnificent nature reserve Snippert and offers a wide view over the surrounding meadows and forests. From the garden you can walk straight into the woods, where you can enjoy various walking and mountain biking routes.



The atmospheric living room offers plenty of space for the whole group and features a comfortable seating area, a large chess table and a flat-screen TV. At the convivial large bar table you can socialise together, play games or end the day relaxed. The ground floor is fully wheelchair accessible, making the accommodation also suitable for guests with limited mobility.



De Vuursteen has 14 bedrooms for a maximum of 40 people. Six bedrooms are located on the ground floor and eight double rooms on the first floor. All bedrooms were equipped with new, luxury box spring beds in January 2024. The sanitary facilities were also completely renovated in January 2024 and consist of 8 toilets, 5 showers and 9 wash basins. For disabled guests there is an adapted shower and toilet facility.



The spacious, renovated catering kitchen is equipped with professional equipment and offers everything you need to cook for a large group. The kitchen features a gas cooker with large oven, a professional dishwasher, microwave, refrigerator and freezer. There are also two catering filter coffee makers available; coffee filters are provided.



A special feature of De Vuursteen is its own Finnish kota. In this atmospheric space you can gather cosily around the crackling fireplace. Enjoy a glass of wine and a good book, organise a pleasant evening of music or watch a film together on the flatscreen TV. The kota is a wonderful place to enjoy the fire and each other's company with family or friends well into the evening.



There is also plenty of space to relax outside. From the spacious terrace and the covered terrace you have a beautiful view over the extensive meadows and surrounding forests. In the generous garden, children can let off steam on the trampoline, air trampoline, swings, seesaw, bird's nest swing and the climbing course with stepping stones. There is also a table tennis table and a football game available.



In bad weather, children and adults can use the shared covered play room with, among other things, air hockey, darts, table tennis and pool billiards.



For extra relaxation, the accommodation has a private hot tub. After an active day in nature you can relax wonderfully in the warm water, whilst the children enjoy themselves in the garden. The hot tub can be used all year round, both during the day and in the evening, in sunny weather or in the snow. There is also a barbecue available, so you can enjoy a pleasant meal together outside.



The accommodation has its own storage room with a washer and dryer combination. This is ideal during a longer stay or when you want to freshen up clothing or towels after a walk or bike ride. From the accommodation you step directly onto the spacious terrace and into the garden, allowing you to fully enjoy outdoor living and the peace of the surroundings.

De Vuursteen offers everything for a relaxed group stay in the Twente landscape: an atmospheric and comfortable accommodation, luxury box spring beds, a professional kitchen, its own Finnish kota with a fireplace, a private hot tub, plenty of play facilities and a beautiful location on the edge of the Snippert nature reserve.



Pets are not permitted in the accommodation and smoking is prohibited. Youth groups and noisy groups are not permitted.
