About this cabin rental
Our Cabin is located by lake Álftavatn in Grímsnes, only 40 min drive from Geysir & Gullfoss area, one of the most popular tourist attraction in Iceland. Town Selfoss is 14 min drive away from our cabin. Crater Kerið is only 7 min drive away.
Our cabin is 74 square meters and has two bedrooms and sleeping loft and bathroom, outside we have 23 square meters guest house with one bedroom and one bathroom.
Master bedroom has King size bed (180x200cm) , second bedroom has bunk bed, lower level with Double bed (130x200cm) and upper level with single bed (90x200cm), upstairs we have sleeping loft with Queen Size mattress (160x200cm) and single mattress (90x200cm). Bathroom has toilet and shower. Outside we have the Guest house, where we have Queen Size bed (160x200cm) and bathroom with toilet and shower. We have nice wooden patio with BBQ and Hot Tub to relax in. During winter time it's good location to see the Aurora / Northern lights ( if the weather conditio is right ). It's a great location to explore the south of Iceland and Selfoss is only 14 min drive away with all shopping you need, restaurants, local swimming pool etc. If you like Golf ,then we have two very nice golf courses close by, Öndverðanes and Kiðaberg.
We have baby crib and high chair for your children.
We provide linen, towels and soap etc.
We manage over 200 properties here in Iceland, most of them in Reykjavik area and also few outside of Reykjavik. Please let us know if you would like to split your stay, some nights in Reykjavik and some outside of Reykjavik. We also offer long term renting.
