About this house rental
Single-story 2-bedroom cottage is simple, comfortable, and easy to settle into. It sleeps up to 4 guests and has a relaxed living and dining area that works well for couples, small families, or friends traveling together.
The living room has a large sectional with plenty of room. The kitchen is fully stocked for everyday meals, and there’s a dedicated coffee bar for an easy start to the morning.
The home gets plenty of natural light and has a clean, welcoming feel throughout. With everything on one level, it’s a convenient home base for exploring Pinecraft, Sarasota, and the surrounding area.
Southgate / South Sarasota — primarily residential, tree-lined streets and modest single-family homes. Typical neighborhood amenities within a short drive include small parks, community pools, grocery and convenience stores along the nearby commercial corridors (Tuttle/Bee Ridge/Beneva areas), and public schools (Alta Vista Elementary, Brookside Middle, Sarasota High). Downtown Sarasota (restaurants, galleries, Marina Jack) and the cultural district are a short drive to the northwest; Siesta Key beaches are west of the city and reachable by car.
Car: most convenient — local streets feed quickly to Tuttle/US‑41/Bee Ridge and I‑275 for regional travel. Public transit: Sarasota County Area Transit (SCAT) operates local fixed‑route buses with stops on major nearby corridors (Tuttle Ave, Bee Ridge/Beneva corridors) for connections to downtown and transfer centers. Ride‑hail (Uber/Lyft) and taxis are widely available.
