Sargasso Season: May–August (peak June–August)
• Sargasso barrier installed in 2026 giving guests access to our secluded beachfront, helping reduce the amount of sargasso that makes landfall
• Beach is cleaned almost daily for any sargasso that makes it past the barrier
• Nearby public beach in the town center also has a sargasso barrier and daily cleaning
• Recommended beach clubs: Día y Noche, Ojo de Agua, Don’s Beach Club

Hurricane Season: May–November (peak Aug–Oct)
• No hurricanes have made landfall here in over 10 years
