About this apartment rental
Welcome to June-Up! This one-bedroom apartment is the upstairs half of a historic beach bungalow on Coastal Highway, with the Atlantic a short walk one way and the Tolomato River a short drive the other.
THE SPACE
Light pours through this apartment all day long. The covered back balcony is the heart of it - seating, a grill, and enough shade to survive a Florida afternoon. Down in the courtyard there is a paver patio under a lit pergola, a fire pit ringed with Adirondack chairs, and a hot tub.
A king bed fills the bedroom and a futon in the living room opens to a full, so three people sleep comfortably. Both TVs are smart TVs, so you can sign in to your own accounts, and the WiFi is fast.
SLEEPING - UP TO 3 GUESTS
- Bedroom: King bed, ceiling fan, smart TV, ensuite bath with a walk-in shower
- Living room: Futon that opens to a full-size bed for a third guest
One full bathroom, entered from the bedroom. Walk-in shower, no bathtub.
THE KITCHEN
Set up for prep and reheating rather than cooking. Full-size refrigerator and freezer, microwave, toaster, kettle, blender, drip coffee maker, cookware, dishes and wine glasses. Please note there is no stove, no oven and no dishwasher.
SHARED WITH THE DOWNSTAIRS UNIT
The hot tub, the laundry shed and the pergola courtyard are shared with Viv-Down, the ground-floor apartment. The balcony and the apartment itself are yours alone. The first floor is a separate rental, so you may see other guests on site during your stay.
LOCATION
Prime Vilano Beach, with the Atlantic to the east and the Intracoastal to the west. Publix is a two-minute drive, in a plaza that rents and sells water-sports gear. Four minutes over the Vilano Bridge is Camachee Cove for boat rentals and deep-sea fishing charters, plus dinner at the Kingfish Grill. Historic downtown St. Augustine is about a five-minute drive.
GOOD TO KNOW
- You reach the front door by an exterior staircase, so you need to be able to manage stairs
- Up to 2 dogs welcome
- No smoking, no events
- Check-in 4 PM / Check-out 11 AM
- Primary renter must be 21 or older
- One parking space per unit. Additional vehicles park at Publix
- The home sits on a busy main street and you will hear road noise
- Stackable washer and dryer in the exterior shed, WiFi, central AC
- Pack 'n Play available on request with 48 hours notice
