Welcome to Moody Surfer, a coastal retreat in Wells, Maine.  Enjoy an easygoing seaside setting close to sandy beaches, local dining, scenic trails, and the charming towns of Ogunquit and Kennebunkport. After a day along the coast, return to a spacious home with comfortable gathering spaces and a rooftop retreat where you can slow down, take in the coastal surroundings, and enjoy the laid-back spirit of southern Maine.



The Space:

Step inside to a spacious open-concept living and dining area beneath a vaulted ceiling with skylights overhead. The comfortable L-shaped sectional provides plenty of room to gather around the wall-mounted Smart TV, while a ductless split-unit air conditioner and ceiling fan help keep the space comfortable. The dining area features a wooden table with seating for 6, positioned beside large windows overlooking the surrounding neighborhood.



Just beyond the dining area, the well-equipped galley kitchen makes vacation meals easy. Bright white cabinetry, dark countertops, tile backsplash, and stainless-steel appliances create a clean, classic look. The kitchen includes a full-size refrigerator, range, microwave, dishwasher, coffee maker (Keurig Duo), air fryer, wine fridge, and other essentials for preparing everything from quick breakfasts to family dinners. Direct access to the back deck makes it easy to take meals and entertaining outdoors.



Step outside to the back deck, where a patio dining set creates an inviting spot for outdoor meals. Fire up the gas grill, relax with a drink, or head into the spacious grassy yard for a game of cornhole. For another favorite spot to unwind, follow the spiral staircase to the rooftop deck, furnished with comfortable seating and side tables. Take in the coastal surroundings and ocean views while enjoying your morning coffee at sunrise or a glass of wine as the sun sets. On a clear night, settle in and enjoy some stargazing.



This home comfortably accommodates up to 6 guests across 3 bedrooms. Bedroom #1 features a queen-size bed, smart TV, and ensuite bathroom with a walk-in shower and single vanity. Bedroom #2 offers a queen-size bed and a desk. Bedroom #3 includes a twin-over-twin bunk bed. A shared full bathroom includes a single vanity and shower-tub combination.



Things to Note:

• Driveway parking is available for up to 3 vehicles.

• A private washer and dryer are available for guest use.

• While Moody Beach is a private beach, public access to the beach is just a three-minute walk away via Public Walkways A & B. Wells Beach is also nearby, approximately 0.4 miles away.

• The home also provides a wide assortment of Maine themed books and family games!
