Black Cherry Overlook is a cabin with updated modern finishes throughout, perched in the trees for privacy and comfy furniture to relax throughout the home. When you arrive the first thing you will want to do is stop, take in the view. Located in Cherry Log, GA, conveniently just 20 minutes from Blue Ridge and Ellijay, GA. This 3-bedroom, 3-bath cabin offers over 2200 sq ft of living space.
The Main/Entry level allows you to spend time with friends and family in the open plan living room, featuring a wood stove, large soft couch and a large Roku Smart TV so that you can stream using your account and personal show list. Cooking is a pleasure in the fully equipped gourmet kitchen, complete with gas stainless steel cooktop and oven, appliances and plenty of counter space. A custom live edge dining table accompanied by the large kitchen island will easily accommodate all your guests. You can enjoy the fresh mountain air on the main level deck where you will find a propane grill, comfy lounge chairs for 2 and a large outdoor dining set for 8. The main floor bedroom offers a king bed, equipped with a 40” Roku Smart TV, USB ports in the touch lamps and blackout curtains to use when not enjoying the views. A full bathroom with a single vanity and tub/shower combo is shared with the main living space. Shampoo, body wash, makeup mirror and a hairdryer are provided for guests
The upper level offers the Master bedroom with a king bed, where you are able to enjoy the views while from bed or on the adjoining private deck & gliders. A 40” Roku Smart TV, USB ports in the touch lamps and blackout curtains for a great nights sleep. A full en-suite bathroom with a single vanity and tub/shower combo as well as a large walk in closet for your use. Shampoo, body wash, makeup mirror and a hairdryer are provided for guests. The open loft includes the pool table, classic arcade console for 2 and our Black Cherry Overlook feature wall above the game cabinet. We love to play games and have a great selection of games and puzzles for your enjoyment.
On the lower level there is so much to love. Featuring a custom mural done by a local artist, living space with plenty of lounge space for everyone to enjoy movie night on the large Roku Smart TV. If you’re feeling more competitive there is shuffleboard or foosball to choose from. A dedicated workspace is also located on this level for those working remotely or just needing some space to be creative. The Serta Queen sleeper sofa under the stairs is ready for those guest not choosing the King bedroom adjoining this space. The bedroom includes high end bedding, dresser and USB ports in the nightstands for the ultimate convenience. The shared bathroom on this level offers a single vanity and walk in tiled shower. Shampoo, body wash, makeup mirror and a hairdryer are provided for guests.
The lower level deck features a brand new expansion including a modern 6 foot propane fire pit, Adirondack chairs for 8, a 4 person hot tub, table and swivel seats for games, conversation or dining as well as a pair of gliders for those wanting to just take it all in. Cuddle up next to the fire with the cozy flannel blankets, enjoy the hot tub, or just hang out while enjoying the amazing mountain air and sounds of nature. The options for spending time together here are endless!

NOTES
- This property is monitored by cameras at the cabins exterior front driveway access and entry points as well as the lower level exterior door/lower stair access point. All cameras are exterior only.
- A quick note on cabin sounds: Because we are tucked away in nature the cabin relies on a private well for fresh water. You will occasionally hear a brief humming sound from the water pump (housed in the lower level utility room) when running the sink, shower or flushing toilets. This is perfectly normal and means the system is working to give you steady strong water pressure.
- Bears: We do have bears and other wildlife in the area. Please do not leave food of any kind in your vehicles or outside of the cabin. The trash cans are on the far side of the front porch inside a lockable cage. All trash should be placed in the trashcans with lids secured and the outside container locked back.
